Save and display data
Saving data and automatically publishing data are both explicit opt-in options. In this case, opt-in prevents unwanted, unconscious processing of personal data and is part of Visforms’ data protection.
Opt-in therefore prevents unwanted, unconscious actions on the website that may not comply with the website’s GDPR declaration of conformity:
- Storage of personal data.
- Publication of personal data.
Save data
To ensure that Visforms saves the data of the submitted form long-term, set the following parameter:
Form configuration » Result tab, Save result parameter = Yes.
Publish data
Note: To ensure that Visforms can also display the long-term saved data in the frontend, the data must first be actively published.
To ensure that Visforms can also display the long-term saved data in the frontend, the following three options are available:
- Publish data automatically.
- Publish a single data record.
- Publish multiple data records.
Publish data automatically
Visforms can automatically publish the long-term saved data of a submitted form.
To automatically publish the submitted form data, set the following parameter:
Form configuration » Data display in the frontend tab, parameter Automatically publish data = Yes.
Publish a single data record
You can manually publish a single data record in the Visforms backend in the form data view.
To do this, click on the gray icon with the small x in the Published column.
Publish multiple data records
You can publish multiple data records at once in the Visforms backend in the form data view:
- To do this, click on the gray empty box in the second column with an empty box as a heading to select the desired data records.
- In the Actions button at the top of the page, select the Publish action option.
