Suppress default behavior of Enter key in form

When a user presses the Enter key within a form field, the form is submitted. This behavior is implemented by the web browser and represents the default behavior of the Enter key. This is often not the desired behavior, especially with extensive forms.
The Visforms Subscription adds a new option to your form configuration. You can use it to turn off the default behavior of the web browser. You can find this option in the form configuration under the “Advanced” tab, just below the block with the “Edit View Layout Options” settings.

Activate this option if you want to prevent the form from being automatically submitted when the Enter key is pressed.
